Baseball, Baseball, Baseball!

Yesterday we had a baseball clinic by former Cornell University infielder and Seattle Mariners scout, Casey Brett.  The son of major leaguer Ken Brett and nephew of Hall of Fame player George Brett, Casey spent more than 3 years in the Seattle organization scouting players at all minor league levels.  Cas ey led a clinic for our entire boys camp, and taught campers about proper pitching mechanics, how to stay balanced when you swing, and how to run the bases like a pro.  Casey also answered questions from our campers, and shared some of his thoughts on what skills standout for college and major league scouts, as well as who some of his favorite players are that he’s worked with (Taijuan Walker is his favorite because he’s the nicest person and hardest worker).
